FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rotating electrical machine comprises a stator and a rotor containing a core and a plurality of sets of permanent magnets built into the core and forming poles. Rotor core includes magnetic flux barriers and bridges. If front reference location (Pf) is the point of intersection of front imaginary line (L1) passing through central axis (O) of the core and the front end of the front magnet, with the outer circumferential surface of the core in a top view, and rear reference location (Pr) is the point of intersection of rear imaginary line (L2) passing through central axis (O) of the core and the rear end of the rear magnet, with the outer circumferential surface of the core in a top view, then the front end of rear bridge (39r) is located in a position shifted from the rear reference location (Pr) forward (F) by an angle θf radians along central angle relative to central axis (O), and rear end (39f1) of front bridge (39f) is located at a position shifted from front support location (Pf) forward (F) by angle of 0 radians or more to θf radians or less along the central angle relative to central axis (O). At the same time, θf satisfies the formulas: 0 < θf ≤ (θa/8), θa = 2π/(Nslot).
EFFECT: increased torque.
