FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering and is intended for road lighting. Lighting device comprises light source (10), reflector device (12), a light input opening (18) located from above, into which light from light source (10) is supplied, and window (20) for light output, located lower and having larger size, and optical plate (22) on window (20) for light output. Optical plate (22) on the window for light output contains a matrix of elongated prisms, each of which passes in the direction from one lateral side to the other lateral side corresponding to the direction of the road width. At that, each prism of the optical plate has a vertical side and an upper face perpendicular to which forms an angle (γ) of prism with vertical to optical plate, which increases from the central prism on the inner section of the optical plate extending outward from the centre and decreases on the outer edge of the optical plate extending outward towards outer edge (50). Deflector (12) is primarily responsible for controlling the output light flux in the direction of the road width, and optical plate (22) is primarily responsible for controlling the output light flux in the direction of the road length.
EFFECT: high uniformity of illumination.
