Hair cutting device comprises body, cutting assembly comprising fixed and movable blades, a drive device for driving a movable knife relative to a fixed knife, an element supporting a comb for detachable attachment of a comb attachment, an end thrust element and an adjustment unit. Adjusting assembly is configured to increase or decrease the distance between comb attachment and cutting assembly during its retraction or retraction. End thrust element prevents movement of comb-like head to cutting unit during retraction when minimum distance between them is achieved. End thrust element connects adjustment unit with fixed blade or moving blade, if retraction of adjusting unit continues after minimum distance between comb attachment and cutting unit after contact of end thrust element with element supporting manifold.
