SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing natural ethane-containing gas for transport in northern latitudes, involving compression of natural source gas with high ethane content, separation of initial natural gas into first and second portions, rectification extraction of compressed initial natural gas from the first part at temperature of minus 80 – minus 100 °C and pressure of 2.0–3.0 MPa of a mixture of ethane and higher boiling liquid hydrocarbons with subsequent compression of obtained fuel gas to pressure in main pipeline and its supply to transport system of main pipelines, separation of extracted mixture of ethane and higher boiling liquid hydrocarbons at pressure 2.5–3.5 MPa per ethane fraction and deethanised condensate. Method is characterized in that clarification of rectification separation of first portion of compressed initial natural gas is high in ethane and low in methane, recovered ethane fraction is condensed by increasing its pressure to transport value via main pipeline, wherein ethane fraction is evaporated in presence of second portion of compressed initial natural gas to form gas methane-ethane mixture.
EFFECT: claimed invention solves the problem of rational use of natural ethane-containing gas resources with the possibility of ethane extraction and preparation for transport to gas chemistry enterprises, providing complete extraction of ethane from initial natural gas and subsequent transportation in form of methane-ethane mixture using natural gas, which is not purified from ethane, for this purpose.
