FIELD: communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to communication engineering. According to the disclosed invention, generating an electromagnetic signal through a transmitting module of an NFC reader, which is supplied to the NFC-reader coil having interturn spurious capacitance, and propagates from the NFC reader coil over the surface of the object with high dielectric permeability, which is in close proximity to the NFC-reader coil; detecting a signal propagating on the surface of an object with high dielectric permeability by means of a capacitive emitting element of a user device located in close proximity to the surface of said object, and transmitting the detected signal to a receiving module of the user device; in response to receiving the detected signal, generating a response signal through a transmitting module of the user device; transmitting a response signal from the transmitting module of the user device to the capacitive emitting element, wherein the response signal propagates from the capacitive emitting element over the surface of the object with high dielectric permeability back to the NFC reader coil; and detecting response signal by interturn parasitic capacitance of said coil and transmitting detected response signal to receiving module of NFC-reader.

EFFECT: providing a secure method of communicating devices with NFC chips with NFC readers with a longer range by using surface waves which transmit a signal over the surface of a human body without modifying existing NFC readers.
