SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and can be used to extend storage life of apples. Disclosed is a biological preparation for protecting apples from phytopathogenic microorganisms containing biomass of Bacillus subtilis VKM B-2604 D strain, biomass of Bacillus subtilis VKM B-2605 D strain, biomass of Bacillus subtilis IPM 215 strain, glycerine, guar gum, Tween-80, a preserving agent and water at given ratio of components.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce weight loss of apples from microbiological spoilage during storage.
