FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method of control of hydraulic shock in pressure pipelines of centrifugal pumps includes installation of return valve (4) and gate valve (3) on the main line after main pump (1) on pressure pipeline (2), as well as installation parallel to the main additional pump (5) with return valve (7) and gate valve (6). Pressure pipeline (9) of pump (5) is equipped with pressure gauge (8) and is cut into pipeline (2) behind gate valve (3) of pump (1). Pump (5) has head exceeding that of main pump (1) by 5÷10 m. Pump (1) is started by starting pump (5) with closed gate valves (3, 6) of both pumps (1, 5). Then, gate valve (6) of pump (5) is opened. When filling pipeline (2) of the network, pump (1) is switched on, pump (5) is switched off and gate valve (3) of pump (1) is opened. Before pump (1) is stopped, pump (5) is switched on, wherein pump (1) return valve (4) is automatically closed by pressure increase in pressure pipeline and pump (5) is switched off.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing guaranteed damping of hydraulic shock.
