FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a mutant strain of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, to carrier vectors used in said method, strains produced by said method, a vaccine, a kit for vaccination, use thereof for treating enzootic pneumonia and other diseases of pigs. Method for producing a mutant strain of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae comprises a step of transforming M. hyopneumoniae strain by using a carrier vector comprising at least one exogenous DNA sequence, which is a sequence under control of the Mhyo promoter region DNA sequence containing 50 to 300 base pairs located on 5'-end of the Mhyo protein gene selected from the group formed by the P36, P46, P65, P76, P97, P102, P146 and P216 proteins.
