FIELD: test.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of testing hydraulic structures intended for power generation, which enables to estimate wave forces and efficiency of wave energy conversion into useful operation. Device comprises support 1 on posts, connected to frame 2 installed inclined relative to support posts, and connected to it by means of main strain gauges 3. On frame 2 with possibility of movement along guides 5 pontoons 4 are installed, connected with rod 6 with rack mechanism connected with shaft of generator 13 via additional shaft by means of chain transmission. Stem 6 consists of two parts interconnected by additional strain gage 7. Device is equipped with measuring and computing system 19, 20 connected to main and additional strain gauges and electronic unit 17, simulating load from external electric circuit, connected with generator 13. Ultrasonic motion sensors 16 of pontoons 4 are installed on device frame 2.
EFFECT: invention enables to estimate both wave forces acting on the wave power converter of the coastal wave-energy complex and evaluation of efficiency of wave energy conversion into useful operation.
