SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method comprises following steps: specifying CM model input data; splitting the CM model into elementary cells; splitting the CM model into voxels; estimating the volume fraction of fibers in the CM model; constructing a pre-pattern of fiber, breaking it into parts and displacing the fiber portions; determining voxels belonging to fiber; checking for fiber crossing with other fibers, if necessary, the above cycle of operations is repeated; verification of achieving the specified value of volume fraction of fibers in three-dimensional model of CM and, in case of its achievement, completion of fiber placement operation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of time and computational resources for creation of three-dimensional model of heterogeneous structure of composite material.
