FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for separation of gaseous product fraction (11) with high content of ethane from gaseous raw material fraction (1) with high content of hydrocarbons, preferably from natural gas. Raw fraction (1) is partially condensed and separated (D1) into gaseous (2, 3) and liquid (4) fractions, and these fractions in demethanizer (T1) and subsequent deethanizer (T2) are separated into gas fraction (5) with high content methane and ethane-rich gaseous product fraction (9, 11). Gas fraction (9) rich in ethane is partially condensed (E1) due to gas fraction (5') with high content of methane and at least one heated side stream (6) from demethanizer (T1), obtained liquid fraction is supplied to deethanizer (T2) as reflux (10), and obtained gas fraction (11) is a product fraction with high ethane content. Raw fraction (1) is partially condensed (E1) solely due to product fraction (11) with high content of ethane, gas fraction (5') with high content of methane and at least one heated side stream (6) from demethanizer (T1).
