SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to long-length flexible pipes, specifically to reeled on a drum. Element of long-length flexible column includes base closed channel formed of one strip by its profiling from center, with formation of profiled collar made in form of longitudinal fold, inner part of which is welded together, and subsequent longitudinal profiling of parts of strip with formation of wall of closed base channel and subsequent welding of connection places of walls of base closed channel to form docking partition, and shaping of remaining parts of strip with subsequent welding of longitudinal edges to shaped collar from different sides, with formation of two external closed channels. Another version of long flexible column element includes base closed channel, which is formed of two strips by their separate profiling from centers with formation of two arc-shaped profiled strips with outward output edges of longitudinal edges, with their subsequent welding along adjoining surfaces with formation of two edge ledges of basic closed channel located diametrically opposite to each other.

EFFECT: reduced load on tubular part of string from tensile and compressive forces.
