FIELD: forestry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry and land reclamation. Method includes adding a compost mixture obtained at a ratio of components: sewage sludge and sawdust by weight of dry substance of 1.4:1, composting period of up to 2 years, compost storage life of not more than 3 years. After the thermophilic composting stage, seeds of sideral plants, mainly lupine of the perennial one, are added to the reclaimed area immediately before composting. Application rate is 1 kg of seeds per 1 m³ compost. Compost is introduced and closed with soil-forming tools in dose of 60–120 t/ha to reclaimed soil surface with subsequent cultivation of Scots pine forest cultures.

EFFECT: method promotes acceleration of the soil formation process by increasing the area of the projective coating, increasing the productivity of forest crops, early closing of the pine in the rows and between rows and the plantation of the environmental protection functions.
