FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fibrous billet for a gas turbine engine blade. Technical result is achieved by a fibrous workpiece for a gas turbine engine blade, obtained by means of three-dimensional weaving, which comprises a first longitudinal section, intended for formation of a shank of the blade, second longitudinal section extending upward the first longitudinal section and intended for formation of the feather. Blank also comprises a first transverse portion extending transversely from the connection between the first and second longitudinal sections, intended to form a first flange, and a first stiffness strip extending downward from the distal end of the first transverse portion, to form a first stiffener of the flange.

EFFECT: technical result is higher uniformity of blade flange deformation under action of centrifugal force during gas turbine engine operation.
