FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making articles from composites. In compliance with proposed method, preforms of parts to be made are produced by 3D weaving of a continuous fibrous web including continuous series of fibrous blanks. Separate fibrous blanks are cut from said web. Note here that every blanks represents an integral part and includes sections located nearby zones of disconnection of bonds formed in weaving. Cut blank is shaped as required to produce fibrous preform shaped to the part to be made. Note here that shaping comprises bend off/in of said sections located nearby aforesaid zones of bonds disconnection. Preform is hardened in appropriate mould. Hardened preform is compacted at gas phase chemical infiltration into female die.
EFFECT: higher quality of complex shape part fabrication.
