SUBSTANCE: invention refers to anaesthesiology and resuscitation, and can be used for prediction of difficult intubation in patients aged 13 to 18 years in the process of anaesthesiological maintenance of the Cesarean section. That is ensured by measuring the circumference of the thorax and the sternal-mental distance. Then their ratio is calculated. If their ratio is 7.5 and more, then difficult intubation is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides the most accurate prediction of difficult intubation in this category of patients, which provides a safe anaesthetic management and reduced risk of developing hypoxia for the mother and foetus.
