FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and can be used for locust harvesting. Locust collection device contains a hinged platform attached to the tractor attachment mechanism. Two fans with sucking-in sleeves are fixed on the platform. Suspension pad is rigidly connected to the frame. On the frame there fixed are suction working elements containing brushes. Brushes rotate towards translational movement of unit and are located in jacket in form of flared end. Brush envelopes the brush and is connected to the suction hose. Sleeve is attached to a dilution device-cyclone. Cyclone ends with a discharge opening with a flap. Unloading port is attached to unloading bag. Drive pulley of the device is connected to the power take-off shaft of the tractor. It is possible to pack viable locusts. Locusts and pneumatic lines are cleaned from soil and plant residues.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
