FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for industries using high-grade carbon dioxide and can be used in production of liquid or gaseous carbon dioxide. Moist natural carbon dioxide of carbonic mineral water deposits is supplied to gas holder at open valve. From gas holder at pressure of 0.17 MPa and temperature of 10 °C through open valve is supplied to adsorber of moisture with synthetic zeolite of brand KA-SO. At that time the second adsorber is in regeneration. Dry gas is sucked from adsorber by double-stage oil-free carbon-dioxide compressor. After the first compression stage, gas with pressure of 0.4 MPa and temperature of 70 °C enters the intermediate water cooler. Further, the cooled carbon dioxide at 15–30 °C is sucked in by the second stage of the compressor and compressed to pressure of 1.75 MPa and temperature of 120–130 °C. Then the main part of gas is pumped into the water cooler, passing, gas is directed for condensation, and a small part of 1.92–1.95 % of the gas flow rate is supplied to the adsorber, through the valve, for zeolite regeneration. Duration of regeneration per day makes 0.92–1.1 hours. After regeneration and cooling of zeolite in adsorber with duration of 2.8–3.12 hours, it is included into operation, and working before adsorber is switched to regeneration.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible not to use additional equipment for gas cleaning, which ensures reduction of operating and capital costs.
