SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of oil-and-gas bearing formations and can be used at temporary blocking of oil-and-gas bearing formation. Disclosed is a fluid for temporary plugging of an oil-and-gas bearing formation, containing a carrier fluid and a cross-linked synthetic polymer containing an unstable group for its destruction when the conditions in the fluid change; a temporary plug containing the above fluid, which is used in deflecting treatment of oil-and-gas bearing formation or for shutting off the path for water and/or gas in oil-and-gas bearing formation during processing; as well as a method for temporary plugging of at least part of oil and gas bearing formation, including pumping said fluid into formation during treatment for intensification of influx, treatment by hydraulic fracturing, acid treatment, processing to reduce friction, deflection processing or well completion operation, formation of temporary plug containing above mentioned fluid, creation for temporary plug of conditions leading to destruction of fluid, and extraction of destructed fluid.
