FIELD: chemistry; mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of hydrocarbons. Method of zonal isolation of a subterranean formation for intensification of hydrocarbon production involves introduction into a wellbore of a liquid for treating a subterranean formation containing a carrier fluid and a soluble material capable of forming a gel during hydration and creating a plug in the subterranean formation using the subterranean formation treatment fluid. Soluble material contains particles of a copolymer of butenediol and vinyl alcohol, capable of forming a plug in the subterranean formation. Average particle size of the copolymer of butenediol and vinyl alcohol ranges from 2 mm to 2 cm, where the particle size is the diameter of the smallest sphere which can contain the particle.
EFFECT: expansion of temperature range of diversion operations, increase of efficiency of prevention of drilling mud leakage into formation, simplification of operations in connection with possibility of pumping of diverting material of only one type.
