FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling. Device 1 for adjustment of squeezing roll 10 of crimping mill comprises crimping stand 12, on which there is at least one balancing cylinder 14, balancing crossbar 16, having drive side 18, located opposite crimping stand 12, and opposite to drive side 18 working side 19, wherein on balancing crossbar 16 on its working side 19 possibility of attachment, in particular of attachment with geometrical closure, of support device 20 for squeezing roll 10, and its drive side 18 is provided with at least one articulated joint 24, through which balancing cylinder 14 interacts with balancing crossbar 16, and at least one adjustment cylinder 26, which is arranged on crimping stand 12 and is configured to be brought into interaction with support device 20 in the direction of the rolled material to control squeezing roll 10 relative to the rolled material, wherein compressive force generated by adjusting cylinder 26 acts on support device 20 along impact axis 28, crossing said at least one hinge joint 24, by means of which balancing cylinder 14 interacts with balancing crossbar 16, or passing in close proximity to said hinged joint 24.
EFFECT: invention eliminates risks of roll swash at its rectilinear-translational movement.
