FIELD: life-saving methods and devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rescue of people on water. Device of detachable hatch for evacuation of people from compartments of overturned vessel by method of locking comprises hatch cover and extension attachment with screw drive. When installing in place of process cutout on bottom of ship this device is fixed so that fastenings rest against elements of system of emergency ship set or in case skin from inside emergency ship, providing required strength and tightness. To rescue people located in compartments of overturned vessel, as lock chambers there used are sealed tanks of emergency ship, and people’s exit is carried out through detachable hatch installed by rescuers in process cutout on ship bottom.
EFFECT: efficient, simple and reliable use of detachable hatch for evacuation of people from an inverted vessel.
