FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, more specifically to a portable means for preventing propagation and localization of fire and can be used as a primary firefighting facility during operation of fire and rescue units to prevent spread of open flame in process, door and window openings in case of fire in buildings and structures. Portable means to prevent propagation and localization of fire comprises a fire-proof web in the form of a rectangular piece of heat-resistant material, complete with fasteners for fixing the web in a straightened state on the wall surface with possibility of covering the opening in the burning building. Fire-proof fabric is made of interconnected layers of heat-resistant material, at least one of which has property of screening or absorption of heat flow from fire zone. Portable device also comprises fastening means for fixing web in straightened condition on wall surface, which are made in form of adjustable in length posts, equipped with spacer mechanisms for fixation of posts in working condition, mainly, between horizontal ceilings of building. Fastening of fire-retardant cloth to stands is made in the form of fixing accessories of cap or clamping type. Technical result of invention consists in reduction of time for fire screening of floors in buildings by means of high-tech fire-retardant cloth and means of its fastening, as well as in significant increase in the time of safe stay of rescuers and victims outside the source of fire under protection of a heat shield with improved fire-retardant properties. Additional technical result consists in simplification and facilitation of portable device operation conditions, especially in open flame areas.
EFFECT: use of the proposed technical solution also makes it possible to facilitate conditions of evacuation from the fire zone, to reduce the quantitative composition of fire calculations and to increase the level of fire safety of premises with provision of tactical ventilation conditions in the building.
