FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pouring steels and alloys in a vacuum-induction furnace, and can be used in shops of metallurgical plants to control the rate of pouring metal from the tundish into molds. Pourer for pouring metal from the tundish to the molds comprises a pipe-shaped housing of refractory material and is installed in the seat of the tundish, and is made in form of two steel-pouring channels of different length, located at different height relative to tundish bottom and at same level relative to upper horizontal plane of mold, wherein the upper plane of the short steel-pouring channel coincides with the bottom plane of the tundish.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities of steel and alloys casting process in vacuum induction furnaces.
