ROTARY PRESSURE FILTERING DEVICE WITH REDUCED PRESSURE FLUCTUATIONS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D33/73 B01D33/09 B01D33/80

Abstract RU 2691046 C2

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary pressure filtration apparatus and can be used in chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. Rotary pressure filtration apparatus comprises a housing capable of withstanding internal pressure exceeding ambient pressure; a rotary drum having at least one substantially circular cross-section and configured to rotate inside the housing about an axis defining a longitudinal direction. Rotary drum is located at a distance from the housing, thus limiting the ring-shaped chamber. At least one sealing element is configured for contact with rotary drum. Each sealing element divides the annular chamber located between the housing and the rotary drum, on the area. Sealing elements are adapted for tight sealing of each area relative to other areas. Sealing element extends in a substantially tangential direction and a longitudinal direction. Sealing element has at least one cut-out part. Size of at least one cut part in substantially tangential direction varies along length of one part of longitudinal direction. At least one passage for material is adapted to provide passage of material between annular chamber in each region and place located outside the housing. Multiple compartments are located on the outer surface of the rotary drum and are configured so that the material can pass between the chamber and the compartments. Compartments are arranged so that during rotation of the rotary drum it is possible to move successively through each of the areas. Each compartment has at least one filter element. At least one outlet of the filtrate is hydraulically connected to at least one filtering element. Sealing device for rotary pressure filter comprises a sealing element having a whole body. Whole body has the first side passing along the sealing element length and width. Second side of the sealing element is located at a distance from the first side and is connected to the first side by means of faces. Space between the first side and the second side sets the thickness of the sealing element. Second side is bent and bent relative to first side. Second side is configured so that it adjoins the cylindrical drum surface and contains at least one cut-out part. Width of at least one cut-out part varies along at least one part of its length. Mechanism is adapted to actuate the sealing element. Mechanism is configured to move the sealing element in the direction of its width. Solid-liquid solid product extraction method envisages the solid-liquid mixture filtration in the rotary pressure filtration device to form a solid product in the form of a filtered precipitate and removal of the filtered residue from the rotary pressure filtering device.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, longer service life of filtering elements, since they are less prone to performance of damage causing movements caused by pressure fluctuations.
