FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means for measuring distance between tops of working blades and shell on rotating rotor surrounding said blades. Disclosed device (1) comprises tubular housing (2) and a proximity-measuring distance sensor (7) which is in the housing and which is a confocal-chromatic sensor or an acoustic sensor. At that, said distance sensor (7) is installed in housing (2) with possibility of movement axially between working position, in which sensor top protrudes out of device (1) for distance measurement, and retracted position, in which sensor vertex (7) is located inside distance measurement device (1), at that locking device 8 is made so that distance sensor 7 can be locked in its working position. Said device implements corresponding method of measuring distance.
EFFECT: this group of inventions provides simplicity and safety of corresponding measurements.
