SUBSTANCE: centrifugal compressor stage having impeller (10) rotating relative to stator (12), with several impeller blades (11) located on rotor side and diffuser (19) installed downstream of impeller (10). Between impeller (10) and stator (12) side space (28) of wheel is formed, at that, streamlined inlet edges (22) of guide vanes (20) located on the stator side are located on the first circular circuit (29) so that the streamlined inlet edges (22) of all guide blades located on the stator side in relation to streamlined inlet edges (22) of adjacent guide vanes (20) have identical distance, and output edges (23) of guide vanes (20) located on the side of stator are located on the second circular circuit (30) so that at least in the first position on the rim the streamlined outlet edge (23) of the corresponding located on the side of the stator of guide vane (20) with respect to the streamlined output edge (23) of at least adjacent guide vanes (20) has a different distance than in the second positions on the rim.
