FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: stage of a centrifugal compressor that includes impeller (10) rotating with respect to stator (12) with several impeller blades (11) arranged on the rotor side and diffuser (19) located in the flow direction downstream of impeller (10), with several guide blades (20) arranged on the stator side, wherein a lateral space of wheel (28) is formed between impeller (10) and stator (12). Gap (34), which is formed between outer edge (37) located downstream of back side (27) of impeller (10) and lying opposite inner edge (36) of stator (12), is sealed using seal (37), namely in such a way that seal (37) seals the lateral space of wheel (18) from intermediate flow passage (26) extending between impeller (10) and diffuser (19).
EFFECT: invention is directed to create a stage of a compressor whose blades are subject to a slight perturbation of the oscillations.
