SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for excavation, equipped with shovel or scoop. Fixing device for attachment of worn element to support in earth works machine includes central shaft with first part with right-hand thread, which determines first axis of rotation, and a second part with a left-hand thread defining a second axis of rotation, a first fixing member screwed on the first thread portion, and a second fixing element screwed on the second thread portion, means of screwing on at least one of the ends of the central shaft, accessible from outside through at least one of the fixing elements. First and second threaded parts are attached to each other by means of connecting device made with possibility of rotation transfer between first and second threaded parts. At the same time the connecting device contains a disk with a rotation axis, the first side of which is located opposite the end of the first threaded part, and the second side is located opposite to the second threaded part. Between the first side and the end of the first threaded part the first tongue-and-groove connection is made, passing along the first diameter, so that the disc and the first threaded part are able to move relative to each other along this first diameter. Between the second side and the end of the second threaded part the second tongue-and-groove connection is made passing along the second diameter so that the disc and the second threaded part are able to move relative to each other along this second diameter.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of machines due to possibility of replacement of wear elements at work sites quickly and reliably.
