FIELD: test technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to leak testing of devices and can be used for leak testing of valves of combustion chambers of liquid-propellant rocket engines. Substance: in critical sections of interconnected combustion chambers there installed are sealed plugs with closed unions. Control gas pressure is created at valve inlet. One opens the union on one of the plugs of combustion chambers. Discharge tube is connected to the open union. Discharge tube is lowered into the container with liquid. Common leakage of control gas by sealing elements of valves is determined. After that nipples are opened on the rest plugs of combustion chambers. Offtake tubes are connected to open unions. All discharge tubes are immersed into vessel with liquid at the same depth. Control gas leakage is measured separately for each off-take tube. Non-tight valve is determined from maximum reading.
EFFECT: reduction of labor costs.
