FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, particularly to loudspeakers. Universal loudspeaker comprises flat membrane, excitation unit, housing forming cavity, in which membrane and excitation unit are arranged. Housing has a hole on one surface, and the excitation unit rests against the end edge of the membrane so that it is excited in the same direction as the direction of the membrane plane, and is also rigidly mounted on the housing. Membrane forms bent part, which is bent from side of one end, where excitation unit is installed, to opposite side of other end, and is arranged so that to close housing opening.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of the loudspeaker.
