FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Disclosed is protection circuit for inverter, in particular for inverter for electric motor, wherein inverter has control system and controlled by control system power part and wherein the control system is configured to periodically output control pulse (WD1, WD2). Protection circuit includes safety element (3), switching device (4) and control circuit (2), wherein safety element (3) is located in supply line to power part and wherein switching device (4) is thus connected to safety element (3), that switching device (4) in closed state shunts safety element (3). Control circuit (2) has control input (8, 8'), to which control pulse (WD1, WD2) is applied. At that, control circuit (2) is made so that control circuit (2) after reception of control pulse (WD1, WD2) or several successive control pulses (WD1, WD2) for a predetermined time interval provides switching signal to switching device (4), as a result of which switching device (4) with periodic reception of control pulse (WD1, WD2) is closed and therefore in case of loss of control pulse (WD1, WD2) switching device (4) after a predetermined time interval opens and initiates inverter protection by safety element (3). Invention also discloses an inverter system which comprises a control system, a power part and a corresponding protection circuit.
EFFECT: protection circuit for inverter and inverter system are disclosed.
