FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport, namely air transport, and can be used to determine level of safety of passengers and cargo transportation by means of civil aviation. Continuous monitoring of civil aviation facilities characteristics is performed. Civil aviation facilities are represented by airports operating civil aviation enterprises. Monitoring of airports includes control of aircraft safety at aircraft stops, service areas of equipment, passenger registration / boarding area, transfer of passengers and luggage, passenger and luggage inspection areas, passenger service areas, baggage handling systems, airport access infrastructure, aircraft to provide protection measures against acts of unlawful interference and boarding prohibited items and materials, ensure safety when sending / receiving cargo, mail and board catering, providing militarized protection of airport infrastructure facilities. Obtained values are compared with similar values specified in basic recommendations of ICAO, and conclusions are made on compliance of measured characteristics with recommended values.

EFFECT: technical result achieved during implementation of the developed method consists in improvement of safety of civil aviation objects use.
