METHOD OF STUDYING PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PROCESSES ON A LOADED CONTACT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N3/313

Abstract RU 2692397 C1

FIELD: control methods.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control methods of physical and chemical processes causing destruction of working surface in friction pairs at ultimate loads. Prepared is a sample consisting of two plates or two coaxial pieces of pipe, materials of which correspond to materials of test contact, on one side of the sample is applied an explosive layer, on the reverse side provide contact of the sample with a solid or damping medium, loading is carried out by blasting an explosive, the sample is sawed so that the contact area is available for analysis, and necessary sample preparation is carried out to remove residues of abrasive material from the tool, zone of contact is investigated for appearance of products of mechanical-chemical processes that have passed in the loaded zone; physical and chemical processes at the boundary are determined by composition, quantity and morphology of products fixed in the contact zone.

EFFECT: possibility of establishing mechanisms of destruction of working surfaces and their spatial localization in practically significant loading conditions.
