FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly to a method for preventing and treating viral diseases of bees. Method for treating bee families affected by viral pathogens, characterized by that in establishing the diagnosis in May-June, the bee is removed from the sick family, bees are brought out a new young bee, it mates with drones and in 30 days starts laying of fertilized eggs, after which acaricidal treatment is carried out against Varro mite 0.00625 % aqueous suspension of biphena twice every 24 hours in dose of 10 ml per street, then bees are transplanted into a new clean beehive on an artificial wax, sugar beet syrup of 50 % concentration is added to bees with addition of 10 ml of the pchelodar VIEV in dose of 1 l three times, after which with the appearance of open brood on the built-up sotoramaks, two plates of bactol are placed in a family.
EFFECT: invention allows to get rid of varroa mites, as well as prevent transmission of viruses with fodder during feeding of larvas.
