FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing N-[(dibutylamino)methyl]methacrylamide – a compound which is a cationic surfactant (meth)acrylic monomer (surfomer), which consists in synthesis of N-[(dibutylamino)methyl]methacrylamide from formaldehyde, dibutylamine and methacrylamide in a heterogeneous aqueous organic medium in the presence of oxyethylated nonylphenol (with number of oxyethyl links 10) as a catalyst for interphase transfer. Object of the proposed invention is to obtain DBAMMA with higher yields while eliminating disadvantages of the prototype.
EFFECT: simplification of the technology of obtaining DBAMMA and its synthesis with higher output.
