SUBSTANCE: container assembly located outside the liquid ejection device includes: a liquid container adapted for containing liquid, wherein the liquid container has a filling hole for liquid for filling liquid into the liquid container; and a lower closing element attached to the liquid container and adapted to form a lower surface that contacts the mounting surface of the container assembly in the fluid supply position of the liquid container in which liquid is supplied to the liquid ejection device. Lower closing element has a liquid collector on the opposite surface to hold the liquid flow to the opposite surface, wherein the opposite surface is located on the opposite side relative to the lower surface and is opposed to the liquid container.

EFFECT: disclosed is a container assembly configured to supply fluid to a liquid ejection device through a connecting channel.
