FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used for ground-based observation of thermal effects on oil and gas-bearing rocks by localization of spatial position of combustion front at various stages of field operation. Position of the combustion front is determined based on the results of multi-stage (long-term) geophysical observations (at least two measurements per year are carried out with interval of 5–8 months). Brief essence is use in one method of simultaneously three known methods, namely: method of natural electric field (EF), method of high-accuracy magnetic exploration and electric prospecting by probing of formation of field in near zone. Method comprises the following steps: creating polygon overlapping expected area of combustion by 2–3 times, measuring background values of geophysical fields, measuring a natural electric field, a magnetic induction module, a horizontal magnetic component (Hy) of the electromagnetic field, repeating said measurements during the year at least once, inputting the obtained information into an electronic computer, processing data using the software systems, interpreting and comparing the obtained data between each other and with the background values obtained at the preparatory step, obtaining actual parameters of propagation front, its speed and direction.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of ground monitoring and control over parameters of combustion front during development of oil deposits by in-situ combustion method.
