FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, to methods of neutron logging for determination of mineralization of well fluid by chemical elements with anomalous absorption of neutrons, in order to determine geological parameters of sections of cased oil and gas wells. In method, including measurement of intensities of epithermal and thermal neutrons flows, passing from source of neutrons through well fluid, calculating the mineralization function as the ratio of the intensity of the epithermal neutron flux to the intensity of the stream of thermal neutrons, normalized to the ratio of the intensity of the flow of thermal neutrons to the intensity of the epithermal neutron flux in fresh water, by the attached formula, then by calibration dependence obtained as a result of measurements of said neutron flux intensity, passing from neutron source through water solution of different mineralization, and calculating the ratio of the intensity of the epithermal neutron flux to the intensity of the stream of thermal neutrons in the mineralized aqueous solution, normalized to the ratio of the intensity of the flow of thermal neutrons to the intensity of the epithermal neutron flux in fresh water, according to the attached formula, the mineralization value of the well fluid is determined.

EFFECT: higher reliability of determination of mineralization and density of well fluid.
