FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, to the field of nuclear physics methods of well research and can be used in devices that carry out diagnostics of the annular space in a scanning mode in order to assess its filling with light and lightweight cements, determine the porosity of rock reservoirs and their saturation with hydrocarbons at different distances from the wall (in the radial direction) of the casing string (CS) and along the perimeter of the well. The equipment contains installed in the security case of the device: a common neutron source and located on one side of it a detector of spectrometric neutron gamma ray logging (SNGL), two detectors of thermal neutrons of neutron-neutron logging on thermal neutrons (2NNLt) and two detectors of epithermal neutrons of neutron-neutron logging on epithermal neutrons (2NNLet), while these neutron detectors are shielded from the neutron source, and the detectors 2NNLet and 2NNLt are made in the form of cassettes with neutron counters, each of which contains a central neutron counter and counters evenly spaced along the perimeter of the inner wall of the device, which are mutually shielded from each other and from the central counter by polyamide screens.
EFFECT: proposed equipment allows, with increased reliability, to carry out a detailed study of the features of filling the annulus with cement, to determine the porosity of reservoirs and the nature of their saturation, which expands the functionality of neutron methods.
