METHOD FOR PLASTIC SURGERY OF PTOSIS SOFTENING OF MIDDLE AND LOWER THIRD FACE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/24

Abstract RU 2693171 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to plastic surgery. It is followed by a skin incision of a temporal-auricular region. Skin incision extends to behind-the-ear region, behind the auricle. Method includes separation of skin-fat flap, mobilization and fixation of ptotic soft tissue block with absorbable material in anatomically correct position on rigid fixation points by forming the first duplication of the superficial muscular-fascial layer of the ptotic soft tissue block from the zygomatic arch to the fascia of the subcutaneous muscle of the neck in a projection of the ear lobe. A second duplication is formed from the lateral edge of the occipital fascia of the pectoral-clavicular-mastoid muscle to the fascia of the subcutaneous muscle of the neck in a projection of the ear lobe. Both duplications are rigidly fixed in these three points. A meshy implant of “titanium silk” material is placed on the tight superficial muscular-fascial layer, with overlapping of the pre-and post-ear areas, and the mesh implant is fixed to the superficial muscular-fascial layer in the temporal fascia, in the projection of the angle of the lower jaw and in the occipital fascia area stiffly-caucasus-mastoid muscle.

EFFECT: method enables improving the effectiveness of soft tissue ptosis of the middle and lower third face with minimal operational risks to obtain a stable clinical result.
