FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sports medicine, and can be used for physiotherapeutic prevention of recurrences in patients with herpes simplex. Seven days before departure to the mountainous area, the complex of physiotherapeutic procedures is prescribed, including the exposure of the ultrathin apparatus to the skin and upper and lower lip mucosa by currents of supersonic frequency, as well as exposure to pulse ultraviolet light from the apparatus "Ecosvet-1" on the skin of the ulnar fossa or the dorsal surface of the hand. Procedures are performed once, daily, for seven days.
EFFECT: method provides prevention of recurrences in carriers of herpes simplex virus by stimulating immunity and inhibiting viral activity parasitizing in nerve endings of skin and upper and lower lip mucosa.
