SUBSTANCE: electric pressure cooker according to the present invention comprises a main body with a space therein for accommodating an inner container, a cover connected to the main body opening and closing upper part, a pressure converter for selecting a pressureer mode and a conventional mode by opening and closing a plurality of suction paths that pass through the gap between the inner side of the inner container and the outer side of the cover and block it, a sensor for recognition of a pressureer or a normal mode selected by a pressure transducer, and a controller for recognizing a pressureer mode based on a sensing signal from a sensor from pressure modes, including at least a pressureer mode and a conventional mode.

EFFECT: disclosed is electric pressure cooker capable of switching between pressureer mode and normal mode and performing heat treatment of dish in accordance with selected mode.
