SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the headlight of a vehicle. System for control of transparent caps of aircraft outer headlights includes an aircraft outer headlamp and control system. Headlight comprises housing to be mounted on aircraft outer surface, light-emitting device attached to housing and dome-shaped translucent cap. Transparent permeable cap comprises a circumferentially closed rim attached to the housing, an outer surface exposed to the external environment and an inner surface facing the light-emitting device. Control system comprises light source, sensor (5), detection means and control device.
EFFECT: possibility of detecting damages in a translucent cap is achieved.
