FIELD: biometrics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic biometric authentication, verification and identification of a person and can be used to authorize a user of an electronic device and provide access to data. For this purpose, continuous monitoring of the presence of an authorized user is made by the audio-video fixing means, the signal from which is transmitted to the emulator of the said device, periodically performing frame capturing with detection of user’s face in frame, while monitoring change of key frame characteristics in time. In the state of the electronic device “unlocked” user identification is performed after the detection stage, taking into account the result of the previous detection cycle.
EFFECT: technical result is higher speed of access to user data, their security by continuous monitoring of presence of authorized user of electronic device with increased speed of authorization.
