FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction separation methods REE from neutral or weakly acidic solutions in presence of salting-out agent with neutral extractants. Method of extractive separation of rare-earth elements from neutral or weakly acid solutions using neutral organophosphorus extractants in a countercurrent multistage extraction cascade, which consists of extraction, flushing and re-extraction parts. Recirculating extractant is supplied to the second stage of the extraction part of the cascade and is removed continuously after flushing and re-extraction from the last step of the cascade. Initial solution is supplied to the last stage of the extraction part of the cascade together with the raffinate of washing with the counter phase organic phase and is removed from the first step of the cascade in the form of raffinate. Wash solution is supplied to the last stage, and re-extracting – to the penultimate stage of the corresponding part of the cascade with counterflow to the organic phase. Re-extract is removed from the first stage of the re-extraction part of the cascade, which operates as a separator without input of the organic phase.

EFFECT: method enables to reduce consumption of reagents for production of individual REE, including due to reduction of extractant losses caused by high efficiency of separation of water-organic emulsion while increasing purity of obtained products.
