FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a biocomposite material for purifying waste water from phosphates, which includes microorganisms-destructors of phosphates Bacillus sp. VKPM V-5061, Pseudomonas aeruginosa VKPM V-8243 and Pseudomonas putida VKPM V-1827, immobilized on carbon carrier - activated carbon with bulk density of 240 g/dm3, particle size from 3.6 mm to 7 mm, weight ratio of ash and moisture of not more than 10 %, total porosity from 1.45 to 1.55 cm3/g, a pore range of about 2 to 45 mcm in diameter.
EFFECT: invention provides high degree of purification of waste water from phosphates.
