FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The proposed bacterial strain in the non-immobilized state is capable of degrading phenol at a concentration of 1.0 g/l for 60 hours. In the immobilized state on polycaproamide fiber, the proposed strain performs complete degradation of phenol at a concentration of 2.5 g/l for 4 days. At a low temperature of 7°C, the strain utilizes 200 mg/l of phenol within 6 days. The immobilized cells of the strain, stored for 2 years in the absence of a substrate at a temperature of 7°C, remain viable and decompose 2.5 g/l of phenol in 8 days.
EFFECT: proposed strain of bacteria Rhodococcus opacus RNCIM Ac-2911D can be used to obtain on its basis a bacterial preparation intended for cleaning the environment from phenol.
