FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of large-size glass articles with given surface curvature. Device for bending sheet glass includes a sliding forming device and a booster device. Booster device comprises beam, on which levers are movably fixed with booster sheet movably fixed on them, pushers, frame, booster levers, profiled plates, as well as booster device vertical movement mechanism. Booster levers are connected with pushers and are movably fixed on frame, frame is rigidly connected to beam, beam is made with guides for vertical movement of pushers, profiled plates are movably fixed on booster levers. Sliding forming device is made with guides for vertical movement of beam, and mechanism of vertical movement of booster device is connected to beam by means of attachment assemblies.

EFFECT: ensuring required accuracy and force of pressing sheet glass in peripheral area of forming device.
