FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing, and more specifically to stationary devices for generation of pyrotechnic charge of fire-extinguishing aerosol as a result of chemical reactions during combustion for automatic suppression of ignition source in a monitored unventilated room. Fire extinguishing aerosol generator comprises pyrotechnic block initiated on open end from electric igniter, fixed through a layer of construction gypsum in a cylindrical housing, placed inside a thermally insulated jacket, closed by a cover, on periphery of which there are outlet holes, wherein the combustion chamber communicates with the receiver, and between the housing and the housing there is a reverse output channel. Novelty is that cylindrical housing is inscribed in square-shaped casing, heat insulation layer of which is made of heat-conducting fibrous material from row: kaolin, basalt, mineral wool, wherein open surface of pyrotechnical block is located in free volume of jacket, combined with reverse output channels formed at its angles and which are directed to communication holes arranged under cover of receiver, shifted relative to peripheral outlet holes of cover, at the same time outside the bottom a tunnel guide is fixed with a profile congruent to the mounting DIN-rail of the frame, and the electric igniter is installed in the housing parallel to the open end of the pyrotechnical block.

EFFECT: proposed technical solution has simplified design of generator of more efficient action for preset purpose at its operative installation in guarded room on standard frame support.
